Truffles’ Story — We Need Your Help Again

Truffles is a sweet 5-year-old pup who was born with a congenital heart defect. Recently, she underwent a specialized procedure in hopes of correcting it using an implant device. Unfortunately, the surgery was not successful.

After careful evaluation, her cardiac team has recommended a more traditional, open surgical approach. While this procedure is more invasive, it offers Truffles her best chance at a healthy, full life.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we were able to raise $8,000–$10,000 for her first surgery. We are deeply grateful for every single person who supported Truffles during that time.

However, because the initial procedure was not successful, we now face the difficult reality of needing to fund a second surgery at a similar cost.

We know this is a big ask, especially after so many have already given—but we are asking, with hope, for your help once more. Whether it’s a donation, sharing Truffles’ story, or keeping her in your thoughts, every bit truly makes a difference.
